The Boathouse is our lakeside venue with a history. This building was an original structure from the late 1800s. The original exposed beam ceiling of the boathouse fills this room with rustic charm. Nestled alongside the lake, it features a large two-tiered deck extending to the water’s edge, a covered front porch, and an additional side deck. With large windows along one wall offering stunning views of the lake at sunset, you feel surrounded by natural beauty. Stone accent walls, original tongue & groove wood, and adjustable lighting complete the cozy feel and make this the ideal spot for a rehearsal dinner, family gathering, or retreat meeting space.
The Boathouse can be set up in a variety of configurations based on your event and needs. Trout Lake provides round and rectangle tables and chairs. This lakeside space includes 5 widescreen tv’s, and three expansive decks that practically touch the water.

We cannot express enough how much we LOVED this venue and staff! 10 out of 10! Everyone we have talked to over the past week has had nothing but great things to say about our whole wedding. Cannot thank the staff enough at Trout Lake for helping us create the perfect wedding day!
The team at Trout Lake were without a doubt the best people we could have ever asked for to work with. They were kind, supportive, attentive (but not overbearing) and just downright fun to work with. By far the best location on the Knot for the Stroudsburg area! If you’re looking for an “all inclusive” venue where you can have your rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception, this is definitely the place to book! They provide the cake, food, drinks and perfect atmosphere for your guests. I honestly felt like I underpaid given the fact that everything was so perfect! The staff were absolutely a delight and made the whole wedding process a breeze. Thank you for making my day perfect!
